A charming, detached, 18th century renovated stone cottage in the hamlet of Pencoed, 1.5 miles from the town of Corwen and 11 miles from Bala. This Pencoed cottage is set in an elevated position and offers wonderful views across fields and the Berwyn Mountains. This Pencoed cottage boasts oak features throughout, and you will find quality farmhouse furnishings in the sitting room, where you will want to spend time relaxing in front of the cosy stone inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove. On a warm summer evening you can enjoy your meal on the large balcony overlooking an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are four good size bedrooms, one on the ground floor with its own bathroom, allowing for flexible sleeping arrangements. There is a conservatory at the front of this Pencoed cottage where you can sit and admire the valley views, whilst the patio can be used to enjoy breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea on a summer's day. Stunning location, beautiful, very well maintained and equipped house and the owners are extremely helpful. Lots to see and do in the surrounding areas especially if you love walking . We usually visit in the autumn/ winter months but stayed in late May this year. We were hoping to take advantage of the beautiful decked area however the Welsh weather was not in agreement. That being said when we were not out and about it was still an utter delight to just sit in front of the huge picture window with a good book and take in the comings and goings of the sheep in the adjacent field.

The best equipped accommodation I have ever visited Lovely part of Denbighshire Be prepared for a bumpy approach as the first third of a mile of the .8 of a mile approach has many pot holes, but drive slowly and all will be well.
