Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its stunning views, cleanliness, and well-equipped nature. The host, Mena, is commended for excellent communication and helpfulness. The games room is a popular feature, and the property's peacefulness and comfort are frequently mentioned. Some guests note the narrow access roads and remote location, but these are generally seen as minor compared to the overall positive experience.

The property is repeatedly described as spotlessly clean, with several guests specifically noting the cleanliness. The fresh smell and tidy presentation contribute to the high score in this category.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views and peacefulness, although some guests mention the narrow roads and the need to drive for amenities. The remote aspect is appreciated by many, but it may not suit everyone's preferences.

Comfort is a strong point for this property, with guests finding the beds extremely comfortable and the house spacious. The cosy sofas and additional blankets add to the overall comfort of the stay.

Facilities such as the games room, well-equipped kitchen, and ample space are well-received. However, some guests suggest improvements like better water pressure and additional lighting outside. The presence of a games room and the provision of games and books are positive aspects.

While guests appreciate the host's excellent communication and the provision of games and books, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.

The house was very nice and the views were great. The beds were so comfy. Has a lovely games room too. Able to take my dogs too, which was fantastic. Would reccommend and would go back there myself. Lovely and peaceful.

Gorgeous house with everything you could possibly need. Mena kept in touch throughout and made sure we had everything we needed. The enclosed garden and quiet location was brilliant for our nervous dog. Beds and sofas really comfortable. Views were amazing… We had some snow during our stay it was picture perfect :) Would definitely come again x

What a wonderful place to stay! We had the most amazing time. Mena was an incredible host, she communicated with us via WhatsApp and checked all was well with us, when we needed wood for the fire she was there in under 15 minutes to bring it. We had an amazing time in the pool room, although he prepared in colder months it gets very chilly! The house was so clean and comfortable, it smelled incredible. The heating was easy to understand if we needed to advance it on those extra cold evenings. The sofas were so cozy and the blankets were lovely, they had plenty of oven space and kitchen utensils. The only downfall being the only frying pan was stainless steel so pancakes/french toast weren't easy to do on it. With that being the only very minor fault, which can be easily remedied, I would rather this place 5*
