First floor: One double with en suite bath with overhead shower, one double and one with bunks. Bathroom with walk in shower. Large decking with garden furniture, barbecue and outdoor hot tub. Security Deposit
There is a £200 security deposit payable on arrival by card. If you do not have a credit card the deposit can be paid in cash. The deposit will be refunded to you within 10 days of your departure as long as no damage is caused.
Group Bookings/Party Types
No Contractors, builders, work parties, large groups, stag or hen parties are accepted at Penvale Lakes Lodges. This site is solely for leisure guests.'
Facilities
The fishing lake has rainbow trout and the park holds its own fishing licence however fishing tackle is not provided.
Please note the office is manned until 6pm every day so arrangements only need to be made if a guest is arriving after that time.
The swimming pool and Wifi are still out of action 9th-31st May.

As per my previous review. Views around the lodges is stunning, nice and peaceful however the lodge itself is run down and in need of repair and a deep clean. For the prices being charged I don't think it matches what is being paid

The lodges are in a fantastic location and look stunning. However, they need to be refurbished desperately! The bathrooms are in need of some urgent work - floor tiles cracked, bath sealant and shower screen dirty and mouldy. The rug in the living area was scruffy and old. The cooker hood was moving and unstable. The hot tub was ready when we got there and somebody came every day to check it but by day 3 it was full of foam so not sure if it needed more attention. Overall we had a great weekend as Llangollen is a fantastic place but I would not return to these lodges until they are refurbished.

Chipped work top and hob.Kitchen ceiling excessively greasy above the hob.Light fittings loose.Several Light bulbs missing.Coffee table unstable and was badly water damaged.Sofa seat cushions ripped.Sliding fitted wardrobes kept coming of the runners.Mouldy bath room tiles and sealant. Broken shower head rail in walk in shower.Freezer full of ice needed defrosting.Blinds dirty.Property had everything we needed, but the lodge is in desperate need of some tlc. The positive was hot tub was great and it was in a beautiful setting.
