If you are looking to bring a pet along with you on your holiday please book into Birches Lodge VIP Pet Lodge or out Ontario Lodge as these are pet friendly. Pets are not permitted in non-pet accommodations, if pets are found in non-pet accommodation then you may be asked to leave.
Security Deposit
There is a £200 security deposit payable on arrival by card. If you do not have a credit card the deposit can be paid in cash. The deposit will be refunded to you within 10 days of your departure as long as no damage is caused.
Group Bookings/Party Types
No Contractors, builders, work parties, large groups, stag or hen parties are accepted at Penvale Lakes Lodges. This site is solely for leisure guests.'
Facilities
The fishing lake has rainbow trout and the park holds its own fishing licence however fishing tackle is not provided.
Please note the office is manned until 6pm every day so arrangements only need to be made if a guest is arriving after that time.
The swimming pool and Wifi are still out of action 9th-31st May.

Very lovely stay, had reasonable amenities in the lodge and a very friendly host who answered all our questions and was flexible with check out times.

We had a comfortable stay at Saltspring Lodge. We did get a little lost finding the slip road down to the area, but we went back on ourselves settled in fine. The ladies onsite were very friendly and accommodating. The area is very picturesque and quiet, sheep grazing around the lodges (watch out for sheep poop when walking around) The hot-tub was a lovely bonus. Despite some previous reviews there was toilet paper, washing up supplies, towels, hairdryer and a washing machine (no clothes airer) on site. I had taken my own supplies but didn't need to use them. We stayed home on the Friday and cooked pizza (brought from a local Aldi, only 10 minutes away) and was out most of Saturday. We didn't need to leave early on the Sunday as there was no bookings for that night, which was a godsend as we were a little hungover (cocktails after dinner in town) Bins are close by, a short walk over the little bridge and by the main reception. An enjoyable weekend, thank you.
