Our family has had a lovely few days away in this beautiful cottage. Perfect location for us, middle of nowhere but plenty of things within the local area. Very quiet and peaceful. Such a lovely setting, waking up and watching the sheep roam the fields with a cuppa was great. The beds are very comfy! The cottage was quite cold when we arrived but after contacting Christopher, he gave us control of the heating, so that was soon rectified. The cottage had everything we needed, fully equipped kitchen and plenty of storage space. I would recommend this cottage for a break away.

The house and location were very good, just what we wanted. The only gripe was the house was extremely cold, even with the log fires we couldn't get the rooms warm enough. The central heating was set only for 4hrs in the evening, not enough to heat the bedrooms. Notes left told you to not adjust the heating. More consideration should have been given to the time of year.

Lovely comfortable cottage with everything you need. Beautiful surroundings and easy to get to many good walking routes
