Guests have had delightful stays at 2 Pant Y Celyn, praising its beautiful decor, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable furnishings. The property's rural setting offers tranquillity and is an ideal base for exploring Snowdonia. The summer house and garden are frequently mentioned as highlights, contributing to a relaxing holiday experience.
The cottage received high praise for its cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'beautiful and incredibly clean'. There were no negative comments about cleanliness, indicating that it is well-maintained.
The location is highly regarded for its quiet, rural setting, ideal for rest and as a base for Snowdonia attractions. The proximity to towns and the National Eisteddfod was appreciated, although limited parking and narrow access roads were noted.
Comfort is consistently mentioned positively, with guests enjoying the well-stocked kitchen, spacious shower room, and comfortable beds. One mention of dampness affecting comfort slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the kitchen and summer house. However, a non-functioning bathroom blind and a comment on dampness suggest minor maintenance issues.
The provision of spices, oil, and milk in the fridge reflects the owner's thoughtfulness. While such gestures are appreciated, it's important to note that these are not guaranteed for every stay.

However, this cottage is extremely damp and we are surprised it wasnt mentioned by other reviewers. The smell of it was the first thing we noticed when we opened the door on arrival. The furniture was damp to sit on, the bedding and towels felt damp and there was visual evidence of it in every room. We did our best to air the place and had windows and doors open but couldn't irradicate the smell. Unfortunatley everything we took with us, whether we wore it or not, needed to be washed when we got home. This didn't spoil our holiday but did impact on our enjoyment of the cottage a little and is something we feel future visitors should be aware of.

Enjoyed the summer house.

I literally photographed the Joules velvet sofa and added it to my personal wish lift! The cottage has everything you need and much, much more - itâs beautifully renovated and clearly loved by its owners. The beds were the most comfortable Iâve ever slept in and the location was perfect for us. There are so many wonderful places within an easy drive - including Snowdon - which we climbed! Thank you for letting us stay in your home xxx
