It had no contact details for the landlord, no information on how to work the temperature gauge which you needed a PIN code for. The property smelled, due to the poor management of how rubbish is discarded, as a result there were flies everywhere in the property. The decking was not clean, nor were the windows. The bath needed rescaling! On arrival, cups hadn’t been cleaned and still had juice in. It just was not good enough! We have paid less for better managed properties. Honestly I’d just avoid this property as the complaint service is also shocking from Sykes, no doubt they will attempt to take this down. My brother has complained a week ago and still hasn’t heard back from Sykes. Other than the stay itself, my children enjoyed Greenwood forest, Gypsie wood and fishing in Beaumaris.

The property was clean and well equipped. There was npise from the nearby pubs at letting out time, but we were warned to expect this and it is the price you pay for a central location. I would suggest looking into secondary glazing to the two front bedrooms to mitigate this. Those in the back bedrooms were not disturbed by the noise so it shouldn't be too difficult or expensive to lessen the impact on the front rooms.

The house is lovely and modern. We hope we will come back soon.
