Wonderfully positioned to make the most of the region’s beautiful beaches, castles and mountains, this comfortable detached cottage, sits in the grounds of the owners’ smallholding, enjoying panoramic views over the surrounding countryside on the fringes of the Snowdonia National Park. It’s just a short drive from an award winning blue flag beach, whilst Caernarfon with its superb castle is three miles and offers a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The Welsh highland narrow gauge railway passes close by and makes for a memorable trip into the mountains of Snowdonia, an enormous range of exciting activities and attractions lie close by including Zip World, the longest zip wire in the world. Walking, golf and horse riding can all be enjoyed nearby.

Hen Weithdy cottage is situated in a great location to visit lots of places in North Wales. The cottage has been well thought out with an entrance porch for coats and boots. Kitchen well equipped with plenty of cupboard space, comfortable beds with a large walk-in shower. The cottage was very cosy with a log burner. Our two dog enjoyed it too with an enclosed field on site to allow them to stretch their legs. Glenn and Sue were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back in the future to this lovely cottage in a great location.

A beautiful little cottage very well equipped. Proprietors are lovely and very welcoming. Well situated for either beachs or mountain walks. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning.

We had a fantastic stay at Hen Weithdy cottage. We celebrated my wife's birthday here and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay and loved the 2 beautiful horses. The cottage is located in a rural area which we were aware of and local amenities are just a short car journey to Caernarfon. All rooms were very clean and beds pretty comfortable. This was a great location to explore northern Wales and we will look at returning soon. Many thanks to Ann and Glenn
