Guests have enjoyed their stays at Samphire, appreciating its peaceful setting and well-kept surroundings. The property is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The majority of reviews highlight the property's cleanliness, with guests finding it tidy and well-maintained. One mention of a damp smell suggests a slight deduction, but overall, the standard of cleanliness is high.
There is not enough information in the reviews to accurately score the location. While the town is mentioned, guests have not provided specific feedback on the location's convenience or attractiveness.
Guests find the property comfortable, with good central heating and a well-equipped chalet. Comfortable beds are specifically mentioned, although there is a single mention of a 'fishy' smell in one room and slippery decking.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a good on-site cafe and swimming pool. However, there are comments about poor TV signal and maintenance issues like slippery decking and a need for paint, which affects the score.
The owner's thoughtfulness is evident through mentions of welcome gifts such as milk, biscuits, and tea/coffee. However, it should be noted that such gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed for every stay.

The property was very clean when we arrived and there was tea, coffee and biscuits left for our arrival, also milk in the fridge which we really appreciated (just a heads-up that our daughter has coeliac disease so couldn't have the biscuits so it may be worth questioning allergies in advance) The property was perfect for what we wanted and we would definitely stay here again. Many thanks
Linda
Thank you

Weather was a bit rubbish- this made the decking very slippy when wet, there was a "fishy" smell from the middle bedroom, i think previous guests may of had an 'accident' and it had leaked through to the under storage, fortunatly one of our guests was unable to come so we didnt need to use that bed. Listing states 2 TVs, however only 1 there and signal was quite poor on live TV so unable to watch. 'Heated pool' on sight is heated by the sun- so when its overcast the pool os freezing (but thats site facillities not owners). Didnt complain during our stay as we where out most day it was more inconvenient than anything, the decking does need a clean/paint as its very worn/dated.
