Accessed by a rough track this renovated farm building is set in a lovely tranquil spot surrounded by fabulous Welsh countryside. Inside there’s a fantastic open plan kitchen, dining and living area, a top quality comfy entertaining space. There’s even a cosy wood burner to light after a day out exploring this splendid region. Each of the bedrooms have plush mattresses and bedding to match, you’re guaranteed a peaceful night’s sleep. Outside is a private hot tub to relax and admire the views from, and maybe spot your woolly neighbours, the local farm sheep in the neighbouring fields! You’re really in the heart of all north Wales with everything it has to offer, with lakes, coastal paths, Snowdonia and popular tourist towns all really close by.
There’s beaches just a couple of miles away, Dinas Dinlle beach has wonderful views across the bay to the Lleyn Peninsula and Anglesey. Caernarfon Castle an imposing unesco World Heritage site is under 9 miles distance, where Prince Charles had his investiture, travel just a little further over to Pwllheli or Criccieth for more fabulous beaches, and Porthmadog is home to the Welsh Highland Railway and some lovely independent shops. No matter what the time of year there’s plenty to do to keep everyone occupied. This property is on the same site as Eithinog Ganol ref UK10314 which sleeps a further 8 guests. Beach 2 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 1¾ miles.

A beautifully spacious and comfortable house in such a peaceful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Close access to lovely coastal walks and beaches. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the evening and looking at the stars. Tesco deliver here too.

Stabal Eithinog barn conversion is an impressive, isolated, spacious, hillside cottage with great elevated views over surrounding countryside and the Irish Sea. (Note neighbouring Eithinog Ganol has a better garden view out to sea and the spectacular sunsets). The cottage thick stone walls and high lounge ceiling kept the interior cool during the hot weather during our stay. The private 6 person hot tub is a lovely addition, although the chlorine smell is strong. We would consider staying at Stabal Eithinog again, but there are a few negative issues to mention. The beds were on the firm side for us but comfortable. We had to swap a couple of lumpy pillows for better pillows off the unused single beds. The broadband and subsequent WiFi is very poor. Each time we used the TV we had to turn it off and back on again at the socket, resetting it to get it to respond to the remote. EE mobile connection at the cottage but not Vodafone. The 500m long unmade, very rough and stony private access track requires driving at walking pace for your average road car and perhaps avoiding if you have a low ground clearance sports car or ultra low profile tyres. Surrounding countryside rights of way were not ideal for walking dogs due to live stock during our stay, which caused us a few issues due to cows and horses protecting their young. We can recommend visiting Nant Gwrtheyrn cafe and beach, Ty’n Llan community pub in Llandwrog, Dinas Dinlle beach and cafe at the nearby airport, Ty Coch Inn and beach at Porthdinllaen, Trefor beach and cliff top coastal path, Llanbedrog beach and walk around headland past the Tin Man, and Caernarfon for variety of pubs and restaurants.

Lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere! A large, airy and comfortable property with great views of the surrounding countryside accessed via a rather rough road (sturdy car is a must). Everything was provided and the outdoor patio with hot tub was a really nice way to relax in the evenings. Wi-Fi is dreadful as is cellular network, so it’s a good opportunity to unplug and just enjoy the peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. Local town has basic amenities but Caernarfon was a very pretty place to visit with lots of shops, cafes etc.
