Fantastic Holiday. The location was perfect. Beach on your doorstep, castle on your doorstep and shops and supermarkets nearby. Lots of great locations to visit and train rides. The house is very spacious and clean. The garden is lovely. I really enjoyed our holiday.

We had a fun time, and would visit again. We were a group of 5 and it was great to have enough space so we didn't feel on top of each other. The kitchen is a little small for the size of the house, and there's no dishwasher, however, overall the rest of the house makes up for this, and I'd say don't let this put you off, it works if you want it to. The bath in the main bedroom is fun! I would say consider the stairs and the access to outdoors if you have mini kids or infirm members of your party. The house is great, idiosyncratic and close to amenities, do your big shop in Porthmadog / before arriving, if you can though. It's brilliant that the owners share the house with people, as it's obviously historically connected to the family. I was delighted to get a call from the owner before visiting with local info. David Lloyd George museum is a nice walk away. There are two pitch and put courses, the one closest to the house, just over the railway line, is better kept, cheaper and out of the wind! The sweet shop on the High Street has a great selection!
