Our Christmas here was lovely, however we had to mend the kitchen tap as it was leaking water and the toaster was full of crumbs and in the tray, it smelt like burning. The open fire was beautiful but would have been nice to have working heating throughout rather than loads of electric heaters which was making the electric meter run out quickly so had to top it up a lot. Also tried to use the tumble dryer and it made all sockets go off so had to move it into the conservatory. We also had a problem when the washing machine was on with other electric items on in the conservatory. The whole electrics need checking as there was a “fishy” smell which could suggest an electrical fault. Also the extractor fan didn’t work while cooking Christmas dinner. It was lovely to arrive to Christmas lights and we loved seeing all the sheep out of the windows. Kitchen was well equipped.

Lovely quiet location, great for a base to explore local area. Well stocked kitchen and utility room, good for a family/group stay. Overall good value for money. WiFi can be limited by the thick stone walls but decent internet acces speed. TV is a bit small and sound is not great but thats my only my opinion.
