Guests say

Guests have praised 3 Pensyflog Barns for its comfort, modern amenities, and proximity to local attractions and shops. The property offers stunning views, a secure garden, and is well-equipped, though some minor maintenance issues and missing items were noted.

The property is consistently described as clean and well-kept, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating high standards.

The location is highly regarded for its closeness to the beach, shops, and local attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring North Wales.

The property is considered comfortable with ample space and separate bathrooms, though the mention of a broken shower head suggests a slight deduction for comfort.

Facilities are generally good with smart TVs and a well-equipped kitchen, but feedback about missing items like a PlayStation and a big pan, as well as a broken shower head, indicate room for improvement.

While guests appreciated the dog beds and felt looked after, the lack of a welcome pack was a point of disappointment. As gifts are not consistently mentioned, it is polite to note that such amenities are not guaranteed.

The accommodation was spotless and very welcoming with all the comforts of home. The garden was secure with no worries for the dogs to get out. A great location for shopping and exploring North Wales. We have had a fantastic holiday, which has been helped by the lovely weather, and can highly recommend this property.

We went to Blackrock Sands, Cricieth, Anglesey, Barmouth and lots of other places. Nearby is an Osprey Centre (Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn) this is well worth a visit, the volunteers for the charity do an amazing job and very informative. 3 Pensyflog Barns is a beautiful house, very comfortable, looking out to the hills / mountains at the back. The garden is secure for the dog too, with a gate at the top. The house sleeps up to 8 people, so there was enough seating downstairs for everybody. The kitchen had a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. I couldn’t find a washing line to dry clothes while the sun was out. There is a small maiden, however this blew over. The kitchen needed another big pan, especially if you have 8 people to feed. There was only one big pan so had to improvise with the slow cook pot to keep things warm. There are lots of smaller pans. Plenty of cutlery, glasses, mugs plates and bowls etc. Upstairs there was one wardrobe to use in the main bedroom, with a couple of hangers. (the other wardrobe had a padlock around the handles) There were no wardrobes in any of the other bedrooms. The bathrooms were gorgeous, a rubber bath mat is needed in the bath as it’s slippery when having a shower. We had 2 very disappointed children as there was no PlayStation which was advertised on the details, they were really looking forward to playing on it in the evenings. Reading another review, they mentioned a welcome pack. There was no welcome pack, so after a long journey, we arrived looking forward to a cuppa to find an empty fridge! We’ve always had a welcome pack in every holiday home we’ve stayed in, so had to go and buy milk etc. Over all, it’s a beautiful house, in a great location, but it just needs a few things adding to make the stay easier and take the play station off the details to avoid upset children.
