This delightful, stone-built terraced cottage is set in the pretty seaside village of Borth-y-Gest on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales.
This modernised character cottage is well equipped and ideal for a romantic break or family holiday offering cosy comfort with deep sofa, 2 armchairs, dining for four, king size double bed and two 3' single beds, all with good lights for bedtime reading. There is a small enclosed front garden with seat whilst at the back there are short steps leading to a sheltered garden with new slate patio (sorry, no photo yet) - perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing. A few more steps and a gate lead to a grassy bank and woodland with spring bulbs. Just a short stroll from Llannor is the picturesque Borth-y-Gest harbour, the Wales Coastal Path and estuary headland offering breathtaking views.
Discover idyllic secret sandy coves and longer awe-inspiring stretches of unspoilt beaches including Samson's Bay and the epic Black Rock Sands.
The estuary teams with birdlife and is flanked by distant mountain scenery and the two historic castles of Criccieth and Harlech. This Borth-y-Gest cottage is the ideal base for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia National Park, ancient castles, historic treasure houses, botanic gardens and a choice of good golf courses.
Leave the car behind to discover Porthmadog's marina, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland steam railways, the Italianate village of Portmeirion and myriad trails through ancient woodland.
Enjoy panoramic views from the top of 260m Moel-y-Gest over the seascape and the 18-hole Porthmadog links golf course.

The beds are sooo comfy. The cottage is well equipped and clean. The bath was a luxury as we dont have one in our flat. The back garden was lovely and perfect for Ron with it's back fate to the woods. Perfect for us too to sit in the sun with a cuppa and read. The coastal path was fab and it didn't take long to find the perfect beach fir Ron to enjoy a swim. It was really quiet. We had a lovely break.

Parking available directly outside. Plenty of walks nearby, into woods behind the cottage, along the coast path to Black Rock sands or into Porthmadog. Would love to stay here again.

No complaints about the property, very clean, tidy and comfortable. Great location for walking into Porthmadog or taking the coastal path to Black Rock Sands.
