Guests say

Felin Eithin is a well-received cottage in Pwllheli, praised for its outstanding, tastefully renovated interiors and comfortable beds. The garden and sunset views are highlights, though some guests suggested minor improvements in facilities and maintenance. The cottage's remote location offers peace and tranquillity.

Most guests found the cottage to be well-kept, but there were concerns about housekeeping standards, such as a dirty nappy and tea towels, and an unemptied dishwasher. These issues seem to be isolated rather than systemic.

While guests have commented on the cottage being remote and peaceful, there is insufficient information to accurately score the location in terms of convenience, accessibility, or proximity to local amenities.

The comfort of the cottage is highly regarded, with guests noting the super comfortable beds and the incredible garden. However, some guests mentioned the need for caution with the bedroom stairs and the immediate step down from the front bedroom.

Facilities are generally appreciated, but guests have suggested the addition of a fridge with a freezer, better garden maintenance, and mirrors in the bedrooms. TV signal issues were resolved using Netflix, and the provision of logs and cleaning materials was a plus.

The cottage provides several thoughtful touches like logs and cleaning materials. However, the lack of a first aid kit, insufficient towels, and no complimentary milk, despite being mentioned, indicate that while some guests felt cared for, others felt that the thoughtfulness could be improved. Please note that gifts and extras are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Quite remote but lovely and peaceful. TV signal not great but once we logged into Netflix that worked fine! The only mirror is in the bathroom which is inconvenient so would suggest mirrors in bedroom for us ladies. Take extra caution when exiting front bedroom due to immediate step down. The above points have been highlighted previously on reviews. Beds very comfy altho feather duvets/pillows used so not good for asthma sufferers

I have already raised concerns with Sykes but haven’t heard back, this is now over a week ago. I am unhappy because: Dirty nappy in bathroom bin Dirty tea towels - 1 was disgusting No toilet roll not even just one roll until we could get to the shop Bins left at bottom of garden Dishwasher not emptied Cafetières put back in the cupboard dirty No first aid kit even though stated in reference book that there was one A bottle of milk would have been nice Only 3 towels left Given it was £800 for a 4 night stay I expected far better. I usually use Airbnb but thought I’d try Sykes for a change, I wish I hadn’t.

Amazing interior. One bedroom leads directly onto stairs with no landing which the description does say so just bear this in mind when booking with small children. The cottage and gardens were stunning. Lots provided logs, cleaning materials, Would definitely book again!
