Pen Y Garth is a well-received cottage, praised for its spaciousness, stunning views, and well-equipped facilities. The large garden is a hit with children and pets, and the property's location offers easy access to beaches and local amenities. Some minor issues with cleanliness and heating were noted, but overall, guests recommend the property for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Most guests found the property clean and well-presented, though a few noted issues with dust, dog hairs, and leftover rubbish. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a consistent problem.
The location is highly praised for its quietness, stunning views, and proximity to local attractions, beaches, and amenities, making it an ideal base for exploring North Wales and Snowdonia.
Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the spaciousness of the property. However, one review mentioned an uncomfortable mattress, slightly lowering the score.
The property is described as well-equipped with a modern kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and a secure garden. Some guests experienced issues with heating and waste collection, which impacts the score.
While many reviews highlight the property's ample amenities and equipment, there is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so a score cannot be given.

That was the heating. We were never sure when the heating would be on. On a cold February booking we expected regular heating during the daytime and evening. However radiators sometimes came on during the night. Odd radiators came on for short periods during the day. Some were cold all the time some only warm for a couple of hours then cold again. As there appeared to be no boiler is it heated by a heat pump? Luckily the log burner worked when we put it on in the evening. But we had to buy logs for this. The thermostat located in the lounge did not seem to be very effective. In other aspects the house was lovely and we had no other problems. Thank you.

It was lovely to stay in such a well equipped and maintained property. It is well located to explore all of the Llyn Peninsula and the lovely seaside village of Abersoch with it's restaurants, cafes, shops and amazing beach is just a short drive away. The amazing art gallery, cafes and beach at Llanbedrog are even closer. The house is very spacious and the views of Abersoch Bay and Porth Neigwl from the house were amazing! We very much enjoyed our stay at Pen Y Garth and would recommend it for both families and more mature couples too.
