Guests say

The Keepers Lodge in Pwllheli offers a countryside retreat with stunning views, a pool, and ample outdoor space. Guests have enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, cozy dining areas, and the lodge's suitability for large groups. While some guests faced maintenance issues and found the space challenging for the number of guests, the overall experience has been positive, with particular praise for the outdoor amenities and the property's location.

Most guests found The Keepers Lodge to be well-kept, though one review mentioned the need to clean up the pool and outdoor seating area on arrival. This indicates a generally satisfactory level of cleanliness with room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its stunning countryside views and proximity to beaches and quiet roads. The lodge's setting seems to be a highlight for many visitors.

The lodge is generally considered comfortable with good outside space and a warm conservatory. However, concerns about the suitability of the family room for small children and limited bedroom storage suggest that comfort could be enhanced for certain guests.

Facilities like the pool and outdoor BBQ/Firepit are appreciated, but maintenance issues and a small kitchen for larger groups have been noted. The presence of working dogs and associated noise has also affected some guests' experiences.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to assess this category based on the reviews provided.

Large house but not enough room for amount of guests. We had 14 including 2 small children. Family room not suitable for small children as open stairs, no bedroom door and not able to attach stair gate. Very little storage in all bedrooms. A lot of maintenance issues. Dogs barking through the night so couldn't have windows open. We had to clean up around the pool area and around the outdoor seating area as beer cans and bags of ash left from previous guests. Over priced and not the peaceful setting advertised.

Weather wasn’t great so having the pool was a huge bonus. Good outside space, enjoyed the BBQ/Firepit, easy to use for cooking and toasting marshmallows on the log fire, the youngsters thought that was fun. Loved the dining room, great family gathering space. Rooms comfortable, maybe could do with some more seating in the lounge area or kitchen. Some nice walks nearby. All in all enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Keepers Lodge.
