Ty Hen is a beautifully maintained cottage in a stunning, peaceful rural location with spectacular views and easy access to beaches and walks. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedding. The garden and outdoor seating are highlights, and the property is ideal for families and dog owners. The welcome from the owner is warm and communication is excellent. Some guests noted limited lounge seating for larger groups and the absence of central heating, but overall, the cottage offers a cosy and memorable stay in a breathtaking part of Wales.
Multiple reviews describe the property as spotlessly clean, with clean bedding and towels. No negative comments about cleanliness were noted.
The location is widely praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to beaches and walks. Some mention it is remote, but this is generally seen as a positive.
Guests find the cottage cosy with comfortable beds and good outdoor seating. However, several mention limited lounge seating for larger groups and initial chilliness due to lack of central heating.
The cottage is described as well-equipped, with a good kitchen, utility room, and garden furniture. A few minor suggestions for improvement (e.g., more lounge seating, measuring jug) were made.
Guests appreciated generous welcome hampers and thoughtful touches like wild flowers, but please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Nice quirky cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay, fantastic garden & garden furniture, great views, very reasonably priced, would recommend for a family holiday & you obviously need transport to get around the peninsula, & the weather was glorious which was a bonus 😁

Lovely quiet, rural location. Great views. Very clean house. Nice bedding and towels. Generous welcome goodies. Nice wild flowers in a jug. Large grassed area for ball games. Useful utility/boot room. Close to National Trust places of interest and local beaches. Once the extension with picture window is finished it will be delightful. We moved comfy chairs from dining room to lounge as not enough seating for 8. Equipment we missed - a measuring jug and soup ladle! Everything else was there. Good supply of dishwasher and laundry tablets. Some coat / towel hooks on the backs of doors would be useful. We had a lovely stay.

Beautiful house in a wonderful location. No central heating so was chilly the first day and a half but the aga and fire warmed the house after that. However could really do with an extra sofa under the window in the lounge - the house has 8 beds and we were a family of 7 adults but squeezing into the chairs provided - 2 of which were fairly basic chairs meant the evenings could have been more comfortable!!Other than that lovely with a great welcome hamper
