A delightful stay in a very welcoming property, instantly felt cosy and comfortable in the space. The property was very cosy, clean, and felt instantly welcoming on arrival. The kitchen was spacious and easy to use and the main room let in a lot of light with lovely views of the adjacent field and pheasants on the mornings. The wood burner was a lovely addition on an evening, especially as it rained quite hard and we were snug and warm inside. The downstairs shower was a little noisy but otherwise perfectly pleasant, the strangest part was that there were no curtains anywhere which made things feel a little exposed at night especially when people from the adjacent property were around and also meant there was no blind in the main bedroom meaning the sun came in as it rose.

Fantastic little cottage in a beautiful rural setting. Cozy and everything you need.Stayed with my family for the weekend, lovely country walks close by and not to far out of the way for trips out.

The Old Cow Shed is in a beautiful, rural location with lovely views acros the countryside. Extremely well appointed, very clean and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The main downside was the lack of blind in the main bedroom, which could be easily remedied. The local pubs were not quite as close as we had understood, at least a mile and a half, with a tricky, unlit, uphill return on a road with no pavement; obviously not a problem for some or if you want to drive. I would definitely return to this property when next in the area. Thank you.
