An ideal location for a peaceful and tranquil weekend away. Spotlessly clean and has everything you could wish for.Make sure you make a note of directions and key code before you travel as the network in the area is pretty poor. Once inside the cottage the WiFi is excellent.

We stayed December 2025. We loved the location, right on your doorstep beautiful forest walks & amazing views. The cottage is very well equipped, clean & very cosy. The hosts Steven & Carol made us very welcome. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Extra logs were supplied, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend Thornycroft CottageJust a little added extra. I called Cottage.com to ask if there was a hairdryer they said no but there is.
