Guests say

Llancayo Windmill is a highly praised holiday rental, celebrated for its unique charm, excellent facilities, and thoughtful touches. Guests consistently commend the property's cleanliness, stunning location, and comfort. The windmill's conversion is admired for maintaining its character while providing modern conveniences. The generous welcome packages, including local produce, add to the delightful experience, although their provision should not be expected.

Guests are overwhelmingly positive about the cleanliness, with only one mention of a need for more intensive cleaning in an en suite, which slightly impacts the score.

The location receives high praise for its beauty and convenience, with numerous recommendations for local attractions and activities.

Comfort is highly rated, with special mentions of the beds and underfloor heating. A few comments about creaky beds and noise slightly lower the score.

Facilities are generally regarded as exceptional, with a well-equipped kitchen and ample amenities. Minor feedback on the size of the cafetiere and the need for additional blankets slightly reduces the score.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is frequently highlighted, with guests appreciating the welcome packs and extra touches. It is politely noted that such generosity, while appreciated, may vary and is not guaranteed.

I recommend this beautiful place to anybody. It is absolutely immaculate. Never stayed anywhere as nice myself and my family had an amazing time here. I would 100% recommend it and I think we will definitely be going back.

The windmill was absolutely gorgeous. The photos don't really do the interior justice - it's really beautifully laid out. The kitchen and utility room are really well equipped (two big fridges, lots of glasses and crockery, lots of utensils). There were some thoughtful touches for our Christmas stay including lovely decorations and home made mince pies. I would highly recommend the windmill as a fabulous place to stay.

This was the most stunning venue to stay for a winter break. Very welcoming, warm and the welcome pack was exceptional. Such a personal touch with a homemade Victoria sponge cake on the kitchen table. Everything was decorated to the highest standard and the sitting room was very comfortable. The dining table was just amazing. All of my guests were overwhelmed and it certainly had the "wow" factor.
