During your stay in South Wales, where up to three other guests and two dogs are welcome, you can explore the nearby Afan Forest Park, Swansea and the Gower Peninsula.

Enter through the boot room, where you can leave coats and shoes, then continue into the bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. A wood burner is set to one side, adding charm to the space, while comfortable seating and a Smart TV invite restful nights filled with relaxation. The fully equipped kitchen and generous dining area provide the perfect setting for mealtimes. From here, wander into the ground-floor bathroom, which features a unique sunken bath. Grab your bubbles and enjoy a luxurious soak. Up the cottage-style stairs, the first-floor landing, nestled beneath the property’s eaves, offers a quiet spot to relax. Both bedrooms are accessible from this landing, each with low beams, angled ceilings, and breath-taking views across the hills. The master bedroom features a king-size bed with plenty of storage, while the second bedroom offers a versatile super-king-size zip-and-link bed.

As you’re based on a farm in South Wales you could take your four-legged friends to explore the countryside walking trails around you. Head to Pontrhydyfen’s village cafe (3 miles) before walking to the towering viaduct and following the footpath along the River Afan. Take a picnic to Melincourt Waterfall (9.5 miles) or experience the thrills of Zip World Tower (22 miles). Try the surf at Caswell Bay (15 miles) and venture deeper into the Gower National Landscape (12 miles) for miles of sandy shores and scenic coastal paths. Also nearby is the Welsh city of Swansea (9 miles).
