Saddlers Cottage at Berllandeg Farm offers a charming and engaging farm experience with friendly hosts and a menagerie of animals that delight guests, especially children. The property provides a comfortable and well-equipped base for exploring the stunning Pembrokeshire countryside and coast. Guests appreciate the warm welcome, the opportunity to interact with the animals, and the peaceful setting.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, though there were isolated comments about cleanliness issues such as animal droppings outside and some overlooked areas inside. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.
The location is highly praised for its perfect positioning for exploring Pembrokeshire and its beautiful surroundings. The peaceful countryside setting is a highlight, although one review mentioned a lack of views from the cottage itself.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as warm, comfortable, and a pleasure to return to each day. The presence of friendly animals adds to the cosy and homely atmosphere.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage being described as well-equipped. The farm's additional offerings, such as animal interactions and fishing, contribute positively, though there was a mention of maintenance issues which slightly impacts the score.
While guests have mentioned a welcome pack and the hosts' willingness to share knowledge and experiences, there is insufficient information to determine if gifts are consistently provided or if they are a standard part of the hospitality. Therefore, a score cannot be given, and guests should note that such extras, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Martin and Lavinia care an awful lot about their holidaymakers and doing everything within their power to make sure everyone has a lovely stay! For us this meant our kiddies being able to be involved (with us) with the care of the animals, in fact they preferred staying on the farm than going on day trips! From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel so welcome! Thank you again Team Bourne for a another fabulous stay, we can't wait to come back

(Myself, daughter & two teenage grandsons). The weather was gorgeous which meant that we were out exploring the beautiful countryside every day, so didn't spend as much time on the farm or with the animals as we'd intended. Nevertheless we all enjoyed seeing the alpacas grazing, and being met by the goats, Cwtch the dog and of course Russell the crow, on our return at the end of each day. The cottage & farm are in a lovely peaceful location and the cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday.

Lavinia and Martin made us so welcome. The cottage had everything you needed, and was so comfy, and clean. And what can we say about the lovely cutch the trusty farm dog, loved his treats, and then the beautiful llamas, all with their own little personality, and Russell the crow, swooping across the yard to great you, oh and not to forget the lovely curly sheep, it was all a joy. Can't wait to go back. Luv Pauline and Dave.
