Guests say

Fresh Winds is a well-regarded cottage praised for its immaculate condition, cosy and comfortable interiors, and secure garden ideal for pets. Its location is convenient for local attractions and dining. Some minor suggestions for improvement were noted, but overall, guests are highly satisfied and would recommend the property.

The property is generally described as very clean and tidy. However, a few guests mentioned cobwebs and flies, indicating room for slight improvement.

The cottage is appreciated for its perfect location, with easy access to local attractions and amenities, making it a great base for exploring the area.

Guests find the beds and pillows very comfortable and the lounge cosy. However, some guests suggested additional cushions for the sofas and noted potential discomfort if the property was at full capacity.

The property is well-equipped, but guests have suggested a few additional kitchen items and side tables. There were also comments about the need for non-slip bath mats and clearer instructions for the heating system.

While guests appreciated the tea, coffee, milk, and Welsh cakes provided, there are not enough references to gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such thoughtful touches, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

A few more bits in the kitchen tongs, serving spoons, hand towels, not vastly important, also some side tables for coffee cups when relaxing in both rooms, again nothing major. We were plagued by house flies must be a seasonal thing. We left a note about a problem with the downstairs shower. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the tea, coffee milk and Welsh cakes were nice, and yes we would stay again. The pub just over the stone bridge, think it was called the Carew Arms was superb, great food and lots of it, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A great area altogether to visit.

We had to contact the owner on our first day as the heating was off and there were no instructions on how to work it, this really does need to be addressed going forward. We had to search for tea towels rather than have them readily available, they were a little flimsy too. There were a number of hanging cobwebs, especially around the velux windows. We live in the country too so know how quickly they can appear but these were large and had been there a while. The lounge sofas could do with a few more cushions and I would question how comfortable this would be if six people were staying, there were two two-seater sofas and a chair so a bit tight! Also non slip bath mats should be supplied.

We were so impressed by it. It’s such a beautiful home and it’s immaculate. The kitchen had everything you need and very spacious. The Lounge was very cosy and comfortable. Beds were very comfy with amble pillows. The garden was enclosed so we were able to let the dogs out without worrying about them getting out. The location was perfect for us, we went to Heatherton, Oakwood Park and Tenby and all within 10-15 minute drive. Would highly recommend.
