This immaculately presented former Pottery is perfectly positioned in the coastal town of Newport, Pembrokeshire. The original 18th century property has been converted into a stylish and modern three-bedroom cottage. Boasting a woodburning stove, an open-plan living space and close proximity to the local amenities and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, The Pottery welcomes six guests to enjoy a peaceful retreat to West Wales. Upon entering your new home-from-home, settle down in the snug and click on the Smart TV, perfect for resting your tired legs at the end of a long day. Use this visit as your gateway into the mythical Preseli Hills - the birthplace of the Bluestone of Stonehenge. Travel onwards where you can visit Castell Henllys Iron Age Village and the gentle giants at the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm in Eglwyswrw before reaching Cardigan and its castle that hosted the first Eisteddfod in 1176. Make sure you explore the atmospheric ruins at St. Dogmaels Abbey and take in nature at its best with a visit to Cilgerran's Wildlfie Centre. For your next Welsh adventure, choose The Pottery.

Every last detail is of a high standard. There are plenty of crockery, mugs, cutlery etc. and all equipment, furniture is of a high quality which makes for a very comfortable stay. Everything has been thought of - games for children, even a 2nd fridge tucked away in a cupboard. Location is superb, with all amenities in Trefdraeth/Newport within walking distance. We enjoyed the walk down to Parrog & along the river, across the golf course to Newport Sands. I remember the pottery when it was open & we would park in its car park to stay in Mrs Mathiasâ B&B when I was a child. Lots to see & do in & around Newport, Fishguard & Cardigan. Diolch o galon. Am sure weâll return.

The photos did not do it justice. For our family of 4 it was ideal. The location worked perfectly for us and it felt like a luxurious home from home. Newport was a lovely village and the surrounding areas made for great walks and easy drives out. 10 out of 10!

Itâs an easy walk to the sea and an easy stroll into town. The house is tastefully decorated with lots of lovely Melyn Tregwynt throws and cushions. Itâs comfortable and well- equipped. The only slight negative is a lack of outside space for dining, but with the coast and the town so close, this hardly matters. We had a wonderful stay.
