Stayed at Holly Cottage as an adult family holiday for my Daughters 40th Birthday. For the money we paid we expected better. To start off the garden was a mess, grass needed cutting, hedges needed trimming & the driveway was full of weeds. The place was full of cobwebs, you expect a few in an old cottage but there was loads of them. The doors in the living room out to the decking didn't open & it was very hot so no ventilation. There was only 1 wardrobe over 3 bedrooms. All the internal doors squeaked. The shower in the upstairs bathroom was in the wrong place & we kept burning our arms on the hot pipe. We felt the overall finish on the cottage was poor & done on the cheap. Overall we enjoyed our holiday but would not return as to expensive for what it was.

Great location with nice sized rooms. As a couple of other reviewers have mentioned there are some cobwebs and behind the unit in the hall needs a good clean, however overall a nice property. The garden is nearly secure for dogs, just watch out behind the garage and oil tanks ( I only mention this if you have dogs and leave them unsupervised for a while). It wasn’t an issue for us as we were with ours at all times. Location is fabulous, a short walk from the beach and coastal paths. Just the one pub at the moment in the village which is 2 mins away if that. It’s friendly and the food is traditional pub grub but still tasty. At the beach the cafe serves nice food. One thing to remember is the village has really poor mobile signal, so take a photo or save the key safe number! We would happily stay again

Tranquil cottage The area is so tranquil. The garden was lovely to sit in, it was secure and great for the dogs. The cottage was very cozy and a short walk to the beach which the dogs enjoyed. Would love to definitely visit again. The gras was a little long which made it difficult to keep the cottage clean with the dogs in and out. We couldn't open the lounge doors onto the patio, the key was not turning the lock and so didn't want to break it. We sadly couldn't have the doors open to enjoy the weather.
