The quaint hamlet of Freshwater East is on the edge of a large sandy beach and enjoys a traditional Welsh village pub serving good food also. Freshwater East is situated about 5 miles from famous market town of Pembroke, with shops and a medieval castle to visit (birthplace of Henry VII) and is within a 30-minute drive of Tenby and Saundersfoot.
Seaview has been fully refurbished in 2021 and offers a very good standard of accommodation throughout. On the ground floor the open plan kitchen, dining and living room offers the perfect social space to enjoy some relaxation after a busy day sightseeing and leads to a small seating area to the rear or a large lawned area to the front, perfect for the afternoon sun. Both bedrooms have been lovingly furnished to a very good standard with the master bedroom enjoying distant sea views and a modern shower room. Other local attractions include Bosherston Lilyponds, Manorbier with its beaches and castle, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Oakwood Theme Park. Local beaches include the beautiful, sandy and secluded Barafundle (ranked as one of the UK’s top ten beaches), Freshwater West (one of Wales’ top surfing destinations), Stackpole Quay and Skrinkle Haven.
The bustling coastal resort of Tenby is within easy reach and is renowned for its picturesque harbour, narrow cobbled streets and pastel painted Georgian houses. It has a variety of boutique gift shops, traditional pubs and highly acclaimed restaurants. Take a boat trip to the historic island of Caldey, with its Celtic monastery and Cistercian monks, who have made it a holy island for hundreds of years.

The only downside was Jack's, the eatery on site. It was difficult to get food and when we did it wasn't great quality. Otherwise a great holiday and very convenient for the beach and local places of interest.

We used the cottage as family were staying at another location in Freshwater East. It was clean, tidy and well equipped. Thank you.
