Great break, loved the lodge just a shame about the smell of drains in the bathrooms and extremely uncomfortable mattresses.

The lodge is lovely and overlooks the golf course towards Heatherton. Well equipped kitchen, and the welcome pack was a nice touch. Only slight niggle, was that it wasn’t clear which recycling went into which bags.

The only thing I can comment on is the lodge was not very clean. Dirty cutlery and grill pan was left dirty, cleaners were obviously not doing their jobs properly. This was reported the day after we arrived. Given the COVID 19 situation cleanliness should have been to a very high standard.
