Tenby, a lively beach town in Wales renowned as "The Jewel in the Crown," is majestically situated on the breathtaking "Welsh Riviera." Tenby is a part of the breathtaking 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where the Gulf Stream warms the water and one of the sunniest counties in the UK is located. This charming town, which is surrounded by ancient walls, has a web of cobblestone lanes and is home to a variety of unique stores, an indoor market for locally sourced foods, tea rooms, and alluring eateries. While hikers and bikers can appreciate the local flora and fauna on the coastal walks, the contestants in the renowned Tenby Iron-Man competition (held in mid-September) don't have time for it. Nearly three miles of beautiful, Blue Flag-awarded beaches provide a variety of activities. You can see seals and puffins while travelling by boat to Caldey Island, where you can take in the beauty and peace of the monastery and island environment. Visit the neighbouring resorts of Saundersfoot or Manobier, or explore the famous Tudor Merchant's House. For teenagers and younger tourists, Oakwood Theme Park offers a fantastic, entertaining day out, while Folly Farm has everything from vintage carnival attractions to both domestic and exotic animals! It was perfect for our needs and we had a lovely stay. Only problem was that the wifi wasn't working while we were there, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. It's my understanding that this has been fixed and so we've booked a stay with you again next year. Thank you
Sarah
Its a great location based in Tudor square with a wonderful sea view out the back. The stairway to the flat looks awful but dont let that put you off. It desperately needs a hand rail on the stairs so anyone with mobility issues will need help. We had a little issue with the heating this time but although I had to call them late afternoon on a Sunday the call was answered promptly and someone sent out to fix it immediately, I cant fault that. The apartment was spotless on arrival and although we were left some milk and welsh cakes we would of appreciated toilet roll more but I think this was an over sight. We do stay in some beautiful places in Tenby, as we visit often, and wouldnt hesitate to stay in Gower View again.

- overall property would benefit from some TLC although we were comfortable and fine for the price. Would question whether it meets the Sykes rating. - sofas in the living room are broken and possibly dangerous given the âlazy boyâ style. - blinds in various rooms in poor condition- this has been commented on by lots of other guests but doesnât appear to have been addressed. - welcome pack doesnât contain useful information such as WiFi details and where to put rubbish. - kitchen worktops felt âstickyâ - all in all the flat is fine for the price point.
