The family has had a lovely week in Tenby. Ty Mair is an excellent house in all respects. ( However you need to be fit to climb the stairs leading to the top floor !)The view from the family lounge is spectacular. It could not be beaten. The bedrooms are fine, the kitchen and equipment are good and the second lounge also has a good view of the beach. The settee had seen better days and the seating at the dining table is rather wonky. The situation for all the amenities could not be better and I would highly recommend it.

This was our second stay at Ty Mair and we intend to book again if we can. The location is perfect for getting to North beach or the harbour, or to the shops. The view from the balcony is absolutely fantastic and we sat there for hours at all times of day, not least as the sun was setting. Although it is between a café and a restaurant (both of which we'd also recommend!) it is not noisy at all and the balcony is totally private. You need to be fit to stay at Ty Mair as there are a lot of stairs but the toilet in the basement utility room is very useful. The kitchen is very well equipped if you like to cook, loads of plates and cutlery, decent sharp knives, chopping boards, serving dishes and baking trays. The wine glasses are a bit motley and the sofa in the basement has seen better days (which is why we gave only 4 stars for equipment) but we didn't mind that, we like to stay somewhere homely rather than in show home! The atmosphere of the property is friendly with beach toys in the bench in the hall and spare food in the larder. The beds are very comfortable and the duvet good quality. There are only two chairs on the balcony but we used our beach chairs.
