Guests say

The Bailey is a charming, rustic cottage in Brecon, appreciated for its welcoming hosts, ample space, and amenities like a hot tub and games room. It's ideal for family gatherings and offers a quiet location with a homely feel. While some furnishings are noted as tired, the property's character and the owners' responsiveness shine through.

The cottage is generally found to be clean and well-maintained, though an isolated incident with a dead bird suggests room for improvement. No widespread cleanliness issues are reported.

The location is frequently praised for its quietness and suitability for trips out, although one review mentioned a lack of views. Overall, the location is considered very good.

Comfort receives mixed reviews. While the property is described as having a warm, comfortable feel, several guests noted that some beds and furniture are uncomfortable and need updating.

Facilities like the hot tub, games room, and well-stocked kitchen are highlights, but there are comments about weak WiFi and tired furniture. Maintenance appears to be generally good, with some areas needing attention.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, aside from their responsiveness and welcoming nature. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

We had a lovely time at Bailey Cottage. Some of the things are starting to look a bit tired. We felt very comfortable with having 4 children in our group and 6 adults. We all said we could have spent longer there. The owners who live next door were very welcoming and left us to enjoy ourselves, just said they was there if needed. Would definitely go back there and hopefully get to stay longer.

Lovely hosts and very welcoming,Lovely hot tub and games room but beds are terrible to sleep in, very uncomfortable and springs can wake up the whole house when you turn. Arm chair completely broken and wasps everywhere.. enough to keep you up all night with the buzzing. A dead bird inside the living room on arrival. Furniture needs updating to something more comfortable. Otherwise beautiful cottage,Location and family! With more comfy furniture, wouldGo back!
