Three Views Bungalow is situated in a residential area in the market town of Talgarth, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons and midway between the towns of Brecon and Hay-on-Wye. This detached property is an ideal base for those wanting to explore the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. There is plenty of room in this property for groups or large families, with two reception rooms and four bedrooms, and there is even a games room located in the garage, which can be accessed from the utility room. The property has a sauna in the garden with views of the Black Mountains, and Pen y Fan can be seen on a clear day. In season, guests are welcome to help themselves to fresh produce from the owner’s fruit and vegetable plot. The bungalow is also within walking distance of local amenities and four pubs.
There are plenty of places of interest in the area. Visit the restored Talgarth Mill, where daily tours take place, and sample some of the delights baked on sight. For those wanting wildlife and water, visit the Pwll-y-Wrach Nature Reserve, which has nice and easy walks to the waterfalls. The literary town of Hay-on-Wye is 7 miles from Talgarth and boasts small coffee shops and book shops. For those more adventurous, the River Wye has canoeing trips, or take a hike up Pen y Fan and see the views from the highest point in the Brecon Beacons. Whatever you decide to do, come back, relax with a glass of bubbly and take in the views. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Bungalow spacious and well provided if little dated. Big kitchen with seating for 10 if needed. Large TV but not smart so need to make own arrangements for watching favourite shows. Lots of DVDs provided. Kitchen well equipped. Talgarth a lovely little town with excellent bakery at the working mill and Strand Cafe which does excellent value huge breakfasts and food through the day. Lots of great walking and Hay and Brecon close by. Planning our next trip.

What a fantastic week away! 2 adults, 2 21 year olds and 3 kids all stayed in this lovely cottage. There was so much space! The bedrooms were good sizes, kitchen well equipped and the games room was used daily. The location is perfect for visiting lots of different towns within a short drive away. And a walk to the local castle and waterfall was lovely ! The local pub was friendly but unfortunately not serving food and the local Chinese takeaway was also shut. Highly recommend the Gurkha restaurant and fish and chips in the village, and the ice cream shop was a big hit !We had to contact the owners during our stay and they were lovely and very very attentive. Would highly recommend!

Lovely comfortable, clean cottage, well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. There is outside seating on 2 sides of the house so always somewhere in the sun or shade depending on what you want. The fruit growing in the garden was lovely, we had pear and blackberry crumble with fruit from the garden as well as raspberries on our breakfast. Owner was very helpful when I had a problem connecting one of my devices to the internet and helped sort it straight away. The location was great, very quiet yet close to the village centre where the locals are friendly and there is a convenience store with everything you could need, a very nice ice cream shop a butchers and more. There is a pub, Indian restaurant and chip shop in short walking distance as well, none of which we used but handy if you don't want to cook. Also quite central to day trip to various nearby places, we loved Hay on Wye and Brecon. A great holiday was had by all.
