Close by is Builth Wells with a good selection of shops and eateries as well as being home to the Royal Welsh Showground which holds many events throughout the year. The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the Brecon Beacons National park and the Black Mountains along with many historic border market towns including the world famous literary town of Hay on Wye.
