Afterwards, the charming lounge is where you will want to be, cosying up on the deep coloured sofas, enjoying the warmth from the woodburning stove ahead of you. For a peaceful night's sleep choose from three double bedrooms upstairs, each oozing a sense of comfort and homeliness, perfect for returning to after a day of adventure and sight-seeing. A separate bunk room is ideal for the children, and a family bathroom is well-appointed, welcoming you with its almost quirky overtone. After readying yourself for the afternoon, why not rest outside on the collection of furniture or enjoy the town which offers a challenging 18-hole golf course, a sports centre, and the Wyeside Arts Centre, which includes a cinema as well as many live shows. Also, you are able to walk straight from the property onto Llandeilo Graban Hill, a perfect location for nature lovers with Red Kites, Buzzards, Grouse and Curlews often spotted. The spa town of Llandrindod Wells is close by, as well as the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons). Why not take a day trip to Hay-on-Wye, famous for books and has nearly 40 book shops as well as characterful antique shops and cafes. The famous Hay Festival of Literature and Arts is held here annually. There is also Builth Wells Royal Welsh Show ground, with events all year round. This is a cottage not to be missed for those who want to switch off away from the busy lifestyle.
Builth Wells offers a challenging 18 hole golf course, a sports centre, and the Wyeside Arts Centre, which includes a cinema as well as many live shows. Across the River Wye lies the Royal Welsh Showground, home to the famous Royal Welsh Show, along with many other events taking place throughout the year. With the spa town of Llandrindod Wells just 8 miles away, and the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park nearby, this is an ideal touring base.
