Pentre Fawr is highly praised for its cleanliness, stunning location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, including a hot tub, and the thoughtful touches from the owners. While there are minor maintenance issues and the remote location requires planning for supplies, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment in a beautiful Welsh setting.
The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, with only a few mentions of minor cleaning oversights. The high standard of cleanliness contributes positively to the guests' experiences.
The secluded and peaceful setting with beautiful views is frequently commended. However, the remote nature means a significant drive for essentials, which is a slight inconvenience for some.
The property is lauded for its comfortable furnishings and spaciousness, suitable for families and groups. A few guests noted the beds were a bit firm, but overall the comfort level is high.
Facilities are generally well-received, especially the hot tub. Some guests reported maintenance issues like shower temperature control and TV problems, suggesting room for improvement.
Guests frequently mention the welcome pack and the owners' attentiveness as signs of thoughtfulness. While these gifts are warmly received, it's noted that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.
A superb barn conversion resting in rural Lower Pentre near the colourful town of Llandrindod Wells. A beautiful cottage which has managed to retain some of its original aesthetics with wooden cladding all over. This theme is carried through inside the property with vast wood flooring, fabulous wooden units and furniture and exposed beams. Professionally laid out over the ground floor is an open-plan living area which provides spacious sitting and dining and a delightfully modern kitchen which highlights an opulent island unit and wine chiller. Enjoy some well earned relaxation in the hot tub with a cold glass of wine whilst you look out over the rolling countryside surround. Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 985447 and 961034, together they can sleep 21 people.

There were a few cobwebs about the place which indicated the cleaning could have been a touch more thorough but overall the cabin is cosy and welcoming. We did plan ahead and bring our own blankets as the sofas are leather and seating in the lounge only accommodates 6 people. We loved the sunken hot tub and this was the main draw of our stay. Would definitely return, a lovely short break had by all.

The lodge/cottage was beautiful and spacious for 8 people. The location was beautiful and out of the way. Great place to get away. The facilities were great. Hot tub was great and was used every day. The kitchen was very modern and kitted out with everything including cutlery which was very clean. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was huge and again fit for purpose. We are planning our next visit in the new year.

Lovely secluded property tucked away amongst the greenery. Property had all the amenities required, ample space for the 8 of us. Couldnât thank the hosts enough, extremely inviting and always happy to help. Our first big family staycation and can honestly say weâre planning on coming back again next year.
