With three bedrooms, it sits in beautiful gardens with private access to the River Wye. Just 0.5 miles from the famous book town, Offa’s Dyke Path and the beginnings of Bannau Brycheiniog, also known as the Brecon Beacons, it is a veritable haven for anyone who loves walking, cycling or canoeing.
Make your way into this magical, eco hideaway to discover a friendly, colourful and quirky interior, with many windows to make the most of the spectacular outlook. Head into the kitchen/diner to unpack any provisions you have bought and prepare a tasty meal for your friends or family to enjoy at the table or in the lounge/diner. There is a separate pantry and laundry. Spend your evenings unwinding together in the inviting lounge/diner, where you can fire up the wood burner, then play games, watch TV or simply gaze out at the scenery. There is also a king-size bedroom, with its own wood burner and an en-suite bathroom, downstairs. Another king-size bedroom and a family room, with a double bed and two singles, are up on the first floor, together with a WC. Spill out into the gorgeous gardens on fine days. Play family games on the lawn, cook your Welsh produce on the BBQ and soak up the serenity of the setting.
Make the most of the access to the river by hiring canoes and paddling off for a few hours. There are also opportunities for fishing here. Lace up your walking boots and find footpaths and routes from the doorstep, some of which will take you into picturesque Bannau Brycheiniog.
