Orchard Cottage sits warmly as an attached barn conversion, on a former farm just outside of Kerry in Powys, Mid Wales. It comfortably hosts upside-down accommodation and is touched with charming and homely features, with fresh oak doors and plenty of attractive exposed brickwork. Sitting in an excellent location for walking, and with a bridleway leading to the renowned Kerry Ridgeway, this converted farm building is a fine choice for families or friends wishing to get away. Kerry is a village in the Vale of Kerry in Mid Wales, close to the borders with Shropshire. There is a shop, two pubs, one with a restaurant, and the area is known for its walking and mountain biking due to the Kerry Ridgeway, a 15-mile route. Discover Montgomery and Powis Castles, the towns of Bishops Castle, Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Machynlleth, and the Snowdonia National Park.

Wendy is a wonderful host and really accommodating and helpful and a lovely person who works very hard to maintain high standards around the site. The accommodation was sparkling clean. If anything were to be upgraded in the future it would be to put in a washing machine and some more lamps for reading by, but overall it was a lovely experience and just what we needed for a relaxing break.
