Guests say

Pines Pitch is a well-received lodge in a tranquil, rural setting, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and hot tub. Guests appreciate the pet-friendly policy and the property's suitability for a peaceful getaway. While some minor issues with comfort and maintenance are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests eager to return.

The lodge consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with numerous reviews mentioning the spotless condition upon arrival. This indicates meticulous upkeep and attention to hygiene.

The location is celebrated for its beautiful, secluded countryside setting, offering peace and quiet. It's ideal for those seeking a rural retreat, though some guests mention the need to travel for activities.

Comfort receives a mixed response. Guests find the beds very comfortable and the setting relaxing, but several reviews point out that the living room seating is insufficient and uncomfortable for the maximum number of guests.

Facilities like the hot tub and kitchen are well-liked, but there are comments about the need for better maintenance and replacement of some kitchen utensils. The hot tub's temperature control and water quality are also mentioned.

While some guests mention a lack of welcome packs or extra touches, there is not enough consistent information about gifts or thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. Therefore, it remains ungraded.

The accommodation is spacious enough for six people, including a baby room. The owner is very friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend a holiday here. The only improvement we suggest is better maintenance of the cabin, as the exterior wood doesn’t look as new and shiny as in the advert photos. Despite this, we absolutely love it here!

Perfect place for relaxation but be prepared to travel a bit for things to do all just a short car journey away. Will be back again

Finding it in the dark was near impossible. We had to get out of our cars after an hour of searching up the same road and use our phone torches. It is not visible in the dark at all. It is very unmissable in the day light and the lady I rang seemed confused as to why I couldn’t find it. I’m wondering if she’s ever been at night when there’s no lights on. That is the only downside. Now we know where it is, we have actually booked to go again. Maybe a blue light would be helpful so then the instructions can say ‘it will have a blue light on’ for example. May help. The lodge itself is great, a decent size for the whole family to enjoy. Couch is a little uncomfortable mind, but the beds were ok.
