A beautifully converted barn in a quiet and peaceful setting. There are a few good walks from the cottage, also fairly close towns for shopping.There are a few things that need sorting out with the property.The first thing is that the cooker has three ovens, two do not work. The third slim oven is too narrow for the pans provided. It is also in desperate need of cleaning inside.The front window in the kitchen can’t be opened as the handle is faulty.The shower is not as advertised in the pictures. It is a head run off of mixer taps with very little pressure and can’t be used as a shower.There was no welcome pack as advertised.Lastly, beware of the long drive up to the cottage, a low slung car(ie sports car) would find it more challenging on the uneven track.Despite these few things, we enjoyed our stay in this cottage it was very idillic..

Beautiful property and location. Unfortunately everything in the home is tired looking and dated. Not very clean at all. The sofas both smell of dog and ***. A very bad smell in the kitchen near the fridge, like something had died and on the last night a strange smell like bad cheese when going up the stairs. Shower doesn’t work. However, there is a jug on the bath to rinse off. Kind to supply a pint of milk, but the seal was off, so we didn’t use it. No other items of a welcome pack, as suggested. Did not see any warning the gardeners were coming on Thursday. Luckily we managed to get the dogs in. The garden is not fully enclosed. Garden furniture is very old and fragile. Don’t think anything is getting replaced at this point
