Ithon Bank offers a peaceful, rural retreat with stunning views and a hot tub for relaxation. Guests appreciate the warm, comfortable lodges and find them well-equipped, despite some noting they are a bit dated. The location is ideal for exploring the local area, and the owners are commended for their friendliness and helpfulness.
Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with some guests finding the lodges clean and well-maintained, while others report issues with dust, hairs, and a need for a deep clean. The overall impression suggests that cleanliness is generally satisfactory, but there is room for improvement.
The location is consistently praised for its tranquility, beautiful views, and rural charm. It serves as a good base for exploring the surrounding area, with guests enjoying the peacefulness and proximity to nature.
Guests find the lodges comfortable, warm, and roomy, with some mentioning comfortable beds. However, there are comments about some beds being uncomfortable and the interior needing updates, which slightly lowers the comfort score.
Facilities like the hot tub are a highlight, but guests note that the lodges could benefit from modernisation and better maintenance. Issues such as squeaky laminate, old kitchen appliances, and mould are mentioned, indicating that the facilities are adequate but in need of attention.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owners, aside from their general helpfulness and friendliness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score for this category.

Comfortable lodge one of three with fantastic views ,very peaceful. The hot tub was well maintained and screened off from the the lodge next to it .The lodge is a bit dated but had everything you would need. The owner introduced herself and asked if all was ok.There were lots of leaflets and information of the local area to visit. There is a Morrisons not to far away to shop. Would return again a comfortable lodge.

The accommodation needs a good deep clean as there was thick dust on all the picture frames, the bath had long black hairs in it - we never saw the owners - the light outside didn’t work so were unable to use the hot tub as it was pitch black at night - there was no hot water from the bathroom tap- the dvd player kept skipping so couldn’t watch anything and the pack of cards had some missing

Cabin was lovely and warm , clean , comfortable , and well equipped . Owners were very friendly but not intrusive , had a problem of no hot water one morning and Mark was soon down to fix it. Hot tub was was a joy to relax in . Cabin in need of a touch up looking a bit dated , but overall enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
