Enclosed, lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. 102 acres of natural farmland (shared with the owner and other properties). Hot tub for 6 (private). Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. This luxurious, detached lodge is the perfect size for a family or group getaway, situated on a working farm in the small village of Hundred House near Builth Wells. Fabulous views of the countryside can be seen from this property. For those wanting to bring their bicycles or simply walk in the beautiful countryside, this is the place to be. Walks can be taken from the lodge across the river into the village. After all that walking and cycling return to the property, take a bottle of something refreshing from the wine cooler and relax in the private hot tub. There is also a local pub within walking distance of the property. It is ideally located for those attending The Royal Welsh Show, which is only 5 miles away. The historic spa town of Llandrindod Wells is 7 miles from the property. Rhayader and The Elan Valley are 16 miles, well worth a visit to see the dams, and for bird watching. Shop and restaurant 5 miles, pub 300 yards.

We had a wonderful week at the lodge for our annual girls’ holiday. The lodge is beautiful and has absolutely everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We couldn’t fault it in any way.The cleanliness was superb, and the beds were very comfortable, making it easy to feel at home from the moment we arrived.The welcome pack was a lovely touch. As there isn’t a shop within walking distance, although there are places to shop a short drive away, I think including some milk in the welcome pack would be really helpful, perhaps instead of the crisps. The Welsh cakes were a lovely addition and went down very well with a nice cup of tea!We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the lodge. We would definitely love to return.

Well laid out lodge with a lovely view. Had a few problems which could easily be resolved, the mattresses were uncomfortable and sofas too low for us and decided to cut our stay short because of this. The shower in the bathroom leaked and again this could be easily fixed. I’m sure this accommodation is perfect for most people but it didn’t quite hit the mark for us.
