With stunning scenery all around, this charming Llanidloes cottage is ideal for a family holiday in the heart of Powys. Set all on the ground floor, this Mid Wales cottage has three lovely bedrooms alongside a well-equipped family bathroom. The beautiful fitted kitchen features oak cupboards and has a small breakfast table, idea for a morning cup of coffee. Family meals can be held in the stylish dining room, before you retire to the comfy sitting room where you can light the woodburning stove and spend the evening reminiscing about the day’s adventures. The garden at this cottage near Llanidloes is an idyllic haven of peace and tranquillity. Listen to the waters of the River Severn as they go babbling by, or watch the birds in the sky as they hover over the surrounding hills. Nearby Llanidloes is a charming town with timber-framed buildings and a fine selection of shops, cafés and pubs. Discover the source of the River Severn by following the Severn Way, explore the fabulous Hafren Forest, or take a short drive over to Llyn Clywedog, a stunning lake with a wide selection of walks and cycle paths. The Cardigan Bay coast is less than an hour’s drive with the university town of Aberystwyth and superb sandy beaches at Borth and Aberdovey. An excellent family holiday cottage in the beautiful Severn Valley.
