The owners could not be more friendly and welcoming and being on a working farm is always interesting (at least to us townies). The countryside around is full of places to visit and, if the weather is fine, the night skies are wonderful.

Andy and his family could not have been more attentive hosts- we loved getting to know them all, including Jess and George! The property is a credit to the owners with everything you'd need for a relaxing stay- this included a lovely welcome hamper, with fresh eggs from their own chickens! The owners provide very clear instructions for everything you could need with lots of recommendations for things to do and see. We felt so at home and it was incredibly peaceful. It's in an ideal location to go out and explore some of the local towns, such as Newtown and Welshpool. It is also well placed to visit the coast and despite a slightly longer drive, Barmouth is definitely worth a visit. An absolute highlight is the hot tub, as a perfect way to unwind after a busy day exploring. All in all, this was the restful week away we needed and went above and beyond what we hoped for. We would love to visit again!

Lovely place to stay and very relaxing. Only thing I'd say is the owners house is basically attached, so if you like a little bit more seclusion then it might not be for you. Although we hardly seen or heard them. Would a million percent go back
