Guests say

Oak View is a highly praised cottage offering peace, stunning views, and privacy. Guests have enjoyed the tranquil setting, the proximity to Newtown, and the friendly hosts. The hot tub and local walks are highlights, contributing to a relaxing and memorable stay. While most feedback is positive, a few guests mentioned minor issues with maintenance and wasps.

The cottage generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests finding it clean upon arrival. One mention of an unclean cheese grater suggests room for improvement, but overall, the standard of cleanliness is well-regarded.

The location is consistently praised for its amazing views, privacy, and peacefulness. Its proximity to Newtown and local walks adds to its appeal. The enclosed garden is appreciated by dog owners, and the setting is described as beautiful.

Guests find the cottage and its surroundings very peaceful and relaxing, with comfortable amenities like a hot tub. However, one guest suggested the outdoor furniture could be comfier, and another had issues with the toilet seat and wasps, which slightly affected the comfort score.

Facilities are generally top-notch, with special mentions of the hot tub and the view. However, some guests experienced issues with missing blinds, a BBQ that couldn't be found, and problems with the TV signal and bifolds, indicating some maintenance concerns.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful touches like Prosecco, Welsh cakes, and robes, there are not enough reviews referencing consistent gifts to guarantee their provision for every stay. The thoughtfulness of the hosts is noted, but without a pattern of gifts, a score cannot be provided.
