Loved the lodge, very clean and comfy. Spacious and the covered veranda was brilliant. It also helped with the extremely hot weather to have somewhere to sit in the shade. The only thing for us was it was a single track road up a steepish hill to reach the lodge at the very end. Not very long but curved so couldn’t see the whole way and no passing places. Probably wouldn’t bother a lot of people but as reversing round narrow curves is not something we can do it wasn’t great. My husband went up and down on foot each time and phoned me it was all clear. Everything else lovely. Nice welcome goodies and milk and nice lady owner. We were very private as well. Good vantage point to watch the bird life.
