With elevated decking and a hot tub overlooking a river at the bottom of the garden, the cottage is an idyllic setting for a romantic getaway or a family trip to explore the Welsh countryside. Ger Y Afon sits on a gated road with off-road parking for four cars, so you will have no trouble getting settled in straight away; leave your boots in the hallway and enter the contemporary kitchen/diner, with smart grey cupboards and wooden floor, and everything you need to rustle up a hot meal for your guests around the dining table for four. Hiking the Welsh valleys and hills calls for a relaxing evening in the sitting room, where you can start the woodburning stove, watch a film on the Smart TV, or simply listen to the soothing sounds of the running river below. Sleeping four guests, Ger Y Afon hosts two bright and airy bedrooms looking out onto the surrounding vegetation; unpack your belongings and rest up before your holiday adventures.
