This stunning, detached, two-storey lodge is set in a rural location with its own lake view just outside Rhayader and the Elan Valley. This place oozes luxury from the moment you walk through the door with high quality furnishings, great en-suite facilities and freestanding baths in two of the upstairs bedrooms, and a fabulous enclosed decked area with a private hot tub overlooking the lake. There is plenty to do in this area. A visit to the Elan Valley is a must as the scenery is just simply stunning with forested areas and waterfalls, great for walkers and cyclists. The Red Kite Feeding Station and rehabilitation centre is not far from the property and the sheep dogs put on a great show moving the cattle and sheep from the fields before feeding starts. The Gilfach Nature Reserve is a fabulous place to take a walk with its small rapids and waterfalls. After a day exploring come back to Lakeside Lodge, sit in the hot tub and watch the sun go down and listen to the wildlife. Bespoke organic handmade soaps provided in the bathroom and the en-suites, as well as a luxury hamper consisting of local goodies. Shop, restaurant and pub 3 miles.
