Situated in Aberdare, just 20 miles from Cardiff, this terraced cottage lies within walking distance of local amenities, the train station and bus depot, as well as pubs and restaurants, coffee shops and the Golf Club in its stunning setting. The living/dining room is open plan with a Smart TV, and the two bedrooms are on the first floor.
There is plenty to do in the area, whether you are walking or cycling. BikePark Wales is about 8 miles from the property and hosts some of the best mountain biking routes in the world. Tower Zip World only 4 miles away. For those who enjoy walking, Garwnant Visitors Centre in the Brecon Beacons is a lovely place to take the children and introduce them to geology in the visitor center with plenty of walks and a great outdoor play park.
The Victorian Aberdare Park has events throughout the year otherwise children can enjoy the splash park and adventure playground. Dare Valley Park is a great place for taking in the nature and horse riding. The property is also within a short distance of the Ystradfellte waterfalls the 4 waterfalls walk and climb Penyfan.
If you would like to spend an afternoon shopping, then take a train to Cardiff and have a coffee in of its iconic arcades. Those looking for water sports or a trip to the beach will enjoy visiting the world-renowned Gower beaches and those of Aberavon Porthcawl and Barry Island (direct train from Aberdare).
