The stunning Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains offer breathtaking scenery and fabulous walking, and there are several waterfalls within a 15-minute walk. Margam Country Park is well worth a visit, with its castle, 18th-century orangery, narrow gauge railway, deer, Fairytale Land and Go Ape tree top adventure. Zip World is also just 10 minutes’ away. Visit Dan yr Ogof Showcaves which also offer wedding ceremonies. Quad biking, archery and paintballing can all be found in the surrounding areas, along with fishing, golf and horse riding. Slightly further afield is the stunning Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with beautiful expanses of sandy beaches, hidden coves and coastal walks. The initial gas supply of £20 is included which normally lasts a whole weekend unless thermostats are changed, thereafter the usage is worked out on an app and is normally around £10 per day this can be deducted from the £150 security deposit if needed.

Amazing property with lots of secure outside space for our dog. We have never stayed anywhere quite like it, and will be rebooking soon.

Positives - Great space for our large family xmas together. Kids toys and play area was well used and appreciated by our children.Negatives - Marketed poorly. We would not have chosen the accommodation if we knew that there was an inferior heating system/ hot water system. We were cold 100% of the time with the heating on as per instructions. Example i was wearing a coat, scarf, wooly hat in the lounge room all the time. The hot water for showers was poor, the oven wasn't the clean (overall accommodation as well), the dishwasher leaked everywhere, the bedding sheets/ linen/ pillows were limited and uncomfortable. In conclusion we paid a lot of money for an uncomfortable and cold stay. More investment is required for the chapel renovation to make it fit for purpose (marketed correctly).
