About this property

A stunning first floor apartment, part of a delightful conversion of a traditional 19th century stone barn at Tyn-y-Coed Farm. This spacious Conwy holiday apartment combines modern comfort with traditional character features such as original beams, attractive oak A-frames, lovely beamed walls and exposed stonework. The property also offers excellent views of the surrounding hills and forests from every window. The pleasant private patio is perfect for dining alfresco in the summer sun, while the enclosed garden is perfect for keeping pets and children safe and sound as they play. A great base for exploring Snowdonia and the North Wales coast, this Conwy cottage is ideal all year round! Note: Cottage can be booked with Refs. 1638, 1683 and 15696 to accommodate 24.

Appearing as a smattering of whitewashed cottages against a dramatic and picturesque backdrop, Rowen is located in North Wales' Conwy Valley, within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. This hamlet has a particular reputation for peace and tranquillity and is a favourite with walkers and ramblers who pass through to walk the moorland and countryside that surrounds it. The Roman Road, which passes above Rowen, runs close to many sites of historical interest including the Maen-y-Bardd, a megalithic burial chamber that dates back to 3,500BC. There are more standing stones to be found at Bwlch y Ddeufaen, which have been dated back as far as 2,000BC. Nearby Conwy has been designated a World Heritage Site in recognition of its magnificent architecture, imposing castle and near-complete Roman walls. In addition, there is a fishing harbour and one of the best preserved medieval town houses in the country, Plas Mawr. As well as a variety of National Trust properties, there are also stunning beaches where you can enjoy a variety of water sports, the internationally acclaimed Bodnant Gardens, Victorian Llandudno and the village of Betws-y-Coed.
